I know it can be scary and you might be nervous about starting from scratch as an owner operator, or maybe your exited and read y for the challenges ahead. Either way I want to help you in the process so here is free consultation about your first steps to become an owner operator:
1- You need a company, of course. You need to limit the liability from conducting business to your business and separate your personal assets from those of your business.
2- Once the company is filled you need an EIN, think about it as your company’s social security.
3- You need to obtain a USDOT number and MC, while requesting this for you we want to make sure what are you going to do with you trucking company, are you hauling general freight in a dry van, are you going to pull refrigerated freight, drayage maybe or flatbed? No worries, we can file it all in a legal and compliant manner.
4- You need to create an IFTA account, file BOC-3 and UCR, am here for you so that you don’t have to go thru all the hops and jumps I did when I became an owner op in 2017.

Highway Heavy use tax is a yearly filling that you need in order to get your truck registration, however you don’t need it when it’s your first time registering a vehicle, The link below will take you to the website I use myself for my 2290 fillings so I don’t have to go to the IRS office and you can use it as well.

Biennial or Authority Update

If you need to file your biennial update which is due every 2 years or change any info regarding your company choose this option.
Drivers TWIC Card

Stay ahead and get ahead by obtaining your TWIC Card. Get in contact with us to file your application and get an appointment for TSA to process and send you your TWIC card. Port Loads are always in high demand
UCR fillings
$60
UCR is to be filled every year and is a federal fee collected for every truck running under your authority, our price reflects our service fee but is not all inclusive, you have to pay on top for every truck running under your MC/DOT.
